Franziska Reinbothe lives and works in Pretzsch/Elbe and Berlin. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB), she is currently a visiting professor there. Her career has been marked by numerous institutional acquisitions, in particular by the Stiftung Hamburger Kunstsammlungen (2021) and the Sammlung zeitgenössischer Kunst der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (2020). She has participated in residencies at CCA Andratx, Mallorca (2024) and Künstlerhaus Lukas, Ahrenshoop (2021). Alongside her artistic practice, she curated the Kunstverein Lüneburg (2021) and regularly conducts lectures and workshops at various art institutions across Germany.
